“Get yourself a belt, Ray, we’re in public”

ORIGINAL AVAILABLE- Giclee prints and cards available

Over a year ago a woman I work with brought me a photo of a knarly old tree with a huge burl on it.  This barkless deformity had a large crack down the center and looked for all the world like a bare butt or a tree with its pants pulled down- showing off its “moon” for all to see.  It took awhile for the drawing to take shape, but the tree’s message was loud and clear-   “Draw me”, it said.

So I did.
