A couple of blogs ago I wrote about the new Monkitree Gallery in Gardiner, Maine, and how I found out about it. I submitted my images per their website instructions, and not only received an encouraging return email, but a few days after that another email saying that the owner, Clare, had googled her own gallery name and it had led her to my blog entry. I used Monkitree as a tag, and this is living proof that tags are an effective and useful internet tool! It’s a bit twilight zone that I typed “FIND ME!” in that blog, and that’s exactly what she did. The exciting end (or beginning) to this story is that I was invited to share the gallery with another tree artist for a show in September 2010!
If you missed the link in my other blog, email her site at www.monkitree.com, or better yet, stop in to the gallery and take a look.
